Jake Stewie2K Yip announced his decision to step away from competitive Counter-Strike and join Evil Geniuses Creator Collective. He'll primarily stream CS:GO and Valorant. Stewie2K has had a storied career including his CS:GO Major victory with Cloud9 at the ELEAGUE Boston Major in 2018.

Since then, he has bounced around on multiple teams like MIBR, Team Liquid, and currently Evil Geniuses. Stewie2K was one of the many CS:GO players that started streaming and playing Valorant when the game was first revealed, but he never actually left the professional scene as many others did.

It's no secret that North American CS:GO has struggled through the years, and ever since Team Liquid's dominant Grand Slam run, North America has struggled to compete. Stewie2K is keeping the door open for something competitive in the future, but for now, he's content streaming his favorite games.

For those interested in hearing more about his plans, Stewie2K invited those curious to tune into his stream.
