A good pair of headphones lets you tune out the rush of a morning commute or neighbors who don't understand the concept of thin walls, and tune into the sounds you actually want to be listening to. In other words, they're a modern-day essential. Though a quality pair can require some investment, you don't have to pay full price, even with brands like Bose, Sony, or Apple. To make finding the right pair as seamless as possible, each week we'll be bringing you the best deals on headphones and earbuds.

Why we like it

The Beats Studio3 are some premium wireless over-ear headphones that were great when they first dropped in 2017, and still stellar in 2023. The current version comes with Apple's W1 chip for easy connectivity, active noise cancellation, comfy ear cushions, and up to 22 hours of battery life (which bumps up to 40 in low-power mode). Best Buy has them on sale for $169.99, or a whopping 51% off, which is only $20 away from their rare record-low price on Amazon.

Why we like it

Amazon surprise-dropped several new Echo devices on Wednesday, May 17, including a new pair of pared-down Echo Buds with a basic semi-in-ear design, multi-device pairing, and a five-hour battery life. (The Echo Buds from 2021, which start at $119.99 with a wired charging case, are now called Echo Buds with Active Noise Cancellation.) You can pre-order a pair for the introductory price of $39.99 ahead of their June 7 release, which takes 20% off their planned MSRP.
