'Y'all, I watch #TheBachelorette FOR the cringe-factor, but Rachel's group date? Just too much. I had to turn away. I couldn't do it,' said a fan

In the fourth episode of 'The Bachelorette,' things got bizarre. Rachel Recchia got furious while witnessing co-Bachelorette Gabby Windey's group date – a boxing fight — in Paris, France, since the guys she handed roses to were too preoccupied watching the boxing events to even look her way. Later that night, she expressed her unhappiness to the contestants.

Rachel planned to hire two specialists to teach the guys “the art of romance and pursuing your partner ... French-style” for her group date. It quickly became cringe-worthy. To begin, when the guys and Rachel entered, the experts were strongly involved in French kissing to demonstrate what good romancing looked like. The men are well aware that they have a lot to make up for. And they'll have to do it in front of these people.

Say hello to Flora and Forrest, experts in all things romance. Today, they'll take the men through a series of challenges aimed at enticing Rachel. First and foremost, flirting! Zach's notion of flirting is to put his partner in a headlock and shut off her air supply. What is that? Flora wonders. Viewers, on the other hand, had a lot of fun with Zach's gaffe. Some of the other men attempt to dance with Rachel. Jordan requests a kiss but is denied, and Hayden puts a kiss on her cheek despite the fact that she plainly does not want to be all PDA in front of everyone. From then, things only grow more unpleasant.

After nonverbal flirting, they must demonstrate their French kissing abilities with their hands, have the Bachelorette smell their armpits, then create and recite a poem to her. As is customary, the winner would receive a private date with Rachel. While the flirting was only a little perplexing (one of them attempted to sexily crawl to Rachel), watching mature guys fully making out with their hands became unsettling. Things went worse when a blindfolded Rachel began smelling her nude dates' armpits to scent their pheromones and determine if she was attracted to them. She also didn't appear to like one man's natural scent. Finally, we arrive at something less revolting: love notes. Tyler even becomes upset when reciting his poetry, which he claims he penned the night before. I finally felt like I had a purpose in this world/And I'd do whatever I could for this girl. for example. Rachel certainly recognizes the effort. Tyler wins the one-on-one dinner with Rachel that night, as expected.
